We are very excited to announce that The Seattle Pie Company has chosen Old Town Tacoma for their second location. Patrick and I are so excited to be a part of Old Town. We fell in love with the neighborhood and the local businesses. Our pies have been selling at the Metropolitan Market in Proctor exceedingly well. We really want to give Old Town a Bakery Cafe that specializes in fruit, cream and savory pies. We are so excited to be a part of the community and cannot wait to meet all of you. Many of your potential customers are going to be either vegetarian or follow Old-Testament dietary eating rules, which means NO PIG IN ANY FORM. This later group includes, Muslims, Seventh-Day Adventists, and, of course, Jews. Do you have a sign in your store warning these customers of the presence of LARD in your pies??? If not, you are running a huge risk of serious problems, because for these potential customers PIG in any form is a total anathama!!
